Christine T. Huynh was born in Vietnam and raised in the Southern California. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature at the University of California, Riverside. She later earned her teaching credentials in Multiple Subjects and in Special Education which gave her the opportunity to work with students in the general and Autism population. Christine is a polyglot who speaks English, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarin, and French. She is currently finishing classes in American Sign Language and Arabic towards an Associate’s Degree in ASL interpreting as well as an Associate’s Degree in Arabic.
She is a published multi-media artist and jewelry designer. Her artwork has been showcased at the 2012 TEDxAFC in La Jolla, CA and also in Paris, France. Aside from her busy schedule, she likes to “pay it forward” through her philanthropic work at various charities in her community. She is currently working towards earning her Masters and Ph.D. in Nursing. She enjoys reading novels, watching horror movies, playing the piano, trying out new adventures and spending quality time with friends and family.
