Born and raised in Orange County, CA, Angela is happy to be back in the Golden State after several bitterly cold years in Chicago and New York. Always the eager one, she graduated a year early from Northwestern University with a degree in broadcast journalism and political science to jump into her first job in television. The two-time Emmy award winning news producer began her career at KEYT-TV, the ABC affiliate in Santa Barbara, CA, where she was promoted to Executive Producer before making the jump to KTLA-TV in Los Angeles. Most recently, she was a producer at NBC’s TODAY Show in New York where she even had the opportunity to be featured in an on-air segment.
Despite her love of producing, Angela always knew she had a passion for business, as she was raised in a family of entrepreneurs. She eventually returned to Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management to earn her MBA with a focus in media management and marketing. Following business school, Angela joined NBCUniversal where she held various business development and strategy roles at the Local Owned Stations group, Bravo and NBC News.
Angela recently put her media and entertainment career on hold to pursue an opportunity with her family business in women’s wholesale apparel and manufacturing. Having grown up around the fashion business her whole life, she is excited about the opportunity to join her brother and parents as they continue to grow their company Pretty Good.
Angela currently calls San Francisco home and loves experiencing all the city has to offer with her husband and friends. She has always had a wide variety of interests and sees everyday as an opportunity to try something new. In her spare time, Angela loves to cook, eat, travel, practice yoga and indulge in trashy reality shows (and the occasional karaoke session).
