Born and raised in Orange County, CA, Crystal Chau studied as a graphic designer. She originally attended Fullerton College prior to beginning her journey at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising due to a close FIDM alumni—her mom. This was one of her greatest decisions and allowed her to gain the prominent skills she has today in programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Flash, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
As a 2013 graduate from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Crystal is a freelance entrepreneur who currently seeks work in the field of graphic design. Her designs range from raw elaborate patterns, to a minimalistic sleek layout with an emotionally appealing color palette. The possibilities in her designs are endless. Her heart resides in advertisements and magazine layouts. Crystal interned at Caypen magazine designing the entire magazine layout as well as advertisements for the Nov/Dec 2012 issue and Jan/Feb 2013 issue. She has also designed Miso for Life, the second anthology in the A Melting Pot of Thoughts series. Connect with Crystal Chau at [email protected] and view her digital portfolio at crystalchau.com
