Kim was born in Vietnam, the eighth of nine children. She came to the United States when she was 6 months old to flee the war. During the escape, as her family crossed a plank to board the navy vessel, she slipped out of her mother’s arms. Luckily, a priest caught her before she fell into the sea. Her mother calls it divine intervention.
Kim currently resides in Orange County and works in Los Angeles. In her spare time, she likes to cook for her family and friends, and *attempts* to jog off the guilt from all that eating.
